New Delhi, January 17, 2026: Signature Global, one of India’s leading real estate developers with a strong footprint in Delhi-NCR, has entered into a strategic ₹380-crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indo-Italian joint venture CECO Hirun Pvt. Ltd. to deploy cutting-edge earthquake-resistant technology across its projects over the next 15 years.

With Indian cities witnessing a rapid rise in high-rise developments, structures are increasingly exposed to dynamic forces such as seismic activity, high wind loads, and temperature-induced stress. In seismic-sensitive regions like Delhi-NCR, classified under Seismic Zone IV, integrating advanced structural vibration-control solutions at the design stage has become critical to ensure long-term safety, performance, and occupant comfort.

Under this collaboration, Signature Global will implement Hysteretic Tuned Mass Dampers (HTMDs), a sophisticated vibration-mitigation system engineered to minimise building movement caused by wind and earthquakes. Unlike conventional damping systems, HTMDs are designed to remain highly effective under varying seismic and wind conditions, making them particularly suitable for modern high-rise structures.

As part of the partnership, CECO Hirun Pvt. Ltd. will design customised HTMD systems for Signature Global’s high-rise portfolio. The programme will be executed in India through an end-to-end framework covering design validation, industrial manufacturing, and on-site installation, ensuring seamless integration with the developer’s construction practices.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Lalit Aggarwal, Co-Founder & Vice Chairman, Signature Global (India) Ltd., said, “This collaboration represents a significant step in reinforcing structural safety across our high-rise projects. As urban skylines grow taller, our responsibility to deliver secure, comfortable, and future-ready homes becomes even more critical. By partnering with CECO Hirun, we are combining global engineering expertise with local market understanding to embed advanced vibration-control systems into our developments. At Signature Global, we remain committed to setting new benchmarks in quality, resilience, and innovation for India’s urban housing sector.”

Dr. Agostino Marioni, Chairman, CECO Hirun India Pvt. Ltd., added, “We are pleased to collaborate with Signature Global to introduce advanced vibration-control solutions across their developments. This partnership reflects a shared vision to elevate construction standards in India by prioritising safety, structural performance, and long-term value. We believe this initiative will redefine high-rise living by making resilience and occupant comfort central to urban development.”

Through the adoption of HTMD technology, Signature Global aims to significantly enhance the seismic resilience of its buildings by reducing wind-induced sway and earthquake impact. The system also protects critical interior components such as walls, partitions, and elevators from vibration-related damage—establishing a new benchmark for safe, comfortable, and future-ready high-rise living in India’s evolving urban landscape.
