DDA Sells Over 700 Flats in Narela Within Days of Launch Under Karmayogi Awaas Yojana and Nagrik Awaas Yojana – Pocket 9 at 75% Booking

New Delhi, March 2026 – The Delhi Development Authority has sold over 700 flats in its Karmayogi Awaas Yojana and Nagrik Awaas Yojana in Narela, indicating strong demand in the sub-city. Under the ongoing DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025, a dedicated scheme for serving as well as retired government employees, it recently offered an additional 936 flats in Pocket 6, Sector A1-A4, Narela. The booking commenced on March 26, 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami and witnessed an enthusiastic response, with over 400 flats booked within just 2 days. Earlier, 1,168 flats launched in Pocket 9 under the same scheme have already seen around 75% booking, indicating sustained demand among government personnel. Similarly, under the DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana 2026, a total of 1,944 LIG flats were offered in Sector G7/G8, Narela, out of which over 300 flats have already been sold on Day 1, reflecting steady demand from the general public.

Scheme Structure and What It Offers

The Karmayogi Awaas Yojana is specifically designed for serving and retired government and PSU employees, offering HIG, MIG, and EWS units in Narela’s Sector A1-A4. Eligible buyers receive a 25% rebate on the disposal price, a significant incentive that has driven rapid absorption in what would otherwise be a relatively peripheral Delhi location. The booking process is entirely online via DDA’s Awaas portal at eservices.dda.org.in, with a non-refundable ₹4 lakh booking amount per flat and allotment letters issued within 24 hours of successful booking.

The Nagrik Awaas Yojana 2026 was launched in January 2026 offering 1,712 flats across Narela and Siraspur at a flat 25% discount across all categories. Interested buyers can apply for units directly through the DDA Awaas portal on a first-come-first-served basis — the scheme operates as ready inventory being offered under a continuous FCFS mechanism with no lottery component.

Location Context: Narela’s Infrastructure Transformation

the DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana 2026, a total of 1,944 LIG flats were offered in Sector G7/G8, Narela, out of which over 300 flats have already been sold on Day 1. The area’s appeal has improved significantly with metro connectivity via the Red Line extension, improving road infrastructure along the Outer Ring Road, and proximity to institutional and industrial zones in North Delhi. The ongoing development of Narela as a planned township with schools, parks, commercial facilities, and road networks already in place, differentiates it from earlier-generation peripheral housing that lacked civic infrastructure.
