WeWork India Opens 90,000 Sq Ft Centre at Udyog Vihar, Gurugram – Its 15th NCR Location

WeWork India has launched WeWork Atrium Place, a new co-working centre spread across 90,000 sq ft in Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, its 15th centre in the National Capital Region. The facility offers more than 1,200 desks and has been set up by leasing office space from DLF, with WeWork India subleasing desks directly to corporate clients. The centre marks WeWork India’s sixth partnership with DLF and features enterprise-grade infrastructure with direct connectivity to NH 48 and IGI Airport.  As of December 2025, WeWork India operates 73 centres spanning 8.2 million sq ft across eight cities Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Gurugram expansion reflects both WeWork India’s continued asset-light growth strategy and the broader strength of the managed workspace segment in the NCR.

Key Highlights

  • WeWork Atrium Place is located in Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, spanning approximately 90,000 sq ft across two floors
  • Over 1,200 desks available for corporate sublease; targets enterprises seeking plug-and-play managed office solutions
  • WeWork India has recorded a 50% increase in enterprise desks across NCR over the past two years, driven by demand from finance, technology, and professional services sectors
  • Flex space operators accounted for nearly 18% of total gross office leasing across seven major Indian cities in 2025, per Colliers India
  • Co-working operators collectively leased 13 million sq ft of Grade A office space in 2025 slightly higher than the previous year

Why Udyog Vihar and Gurugram Matter

Udyog Vihar is one of Gurugram’s most established commercial micro-markets a dense, mixed-use zone that predates the Golf Course Road and Cyber City clusters and continues to attract a wide range of occupiers, from mid-size tech firms to MNC back offices. Its proximity to NH 48, IGI Airport, and the broader Gurugram corporate belt makes it a practical location for companies seeking managed office space without committing to long-term Grade A leases in higher-rent submarkets. For flex operators, Udyog Vihar delivers a reliable demand base, corporates here tend to be operationally focused rather than brand-driven, making cost-effective managed workspace a natural fit.

What It Means for Commercial Property Investors and Occupiers

For commercial property investors, WeWork India’s continued DLF partnership signals that institutional-grade landlords remain willing to structure flex-operator leases in Gurugram. A positive indicator for the submarket’s rental stability. DLF’s role as the underlying landlord adds a layer of asset quality assurance that purely co-working-focused buildings may not offer.

For corporate occupiers, the new Atrium Place centre offers an entry point into a well-connected Gurugram address without the capital expenditure of a traditional fit-out. WeWork India’s current portfolio serves businesses ranging from solopreneurs to Fortune 500 companies, meaning desk configurations and floor-plate options are structured to accommodate varied team sizes and tenure requirements.
